Meet Our Educators
Natrice Johnson, M.Ed
Natrice is the Owner and Director of Candy's Kids Learning Academy, LLC. Natrice has 24 years of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in multicultural education and certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education and Directors Credential certificates. Her years of teaching middle school expand her knowledge of working with school-age students. Natrice has ten years of experience educating youth from infants to 12 years old in her family childcare and 13 years in her childcare center. She also served as a Sunday school teacher and was the Director of a childcare center for two years. Natrice is the proud mother of one son.
Sarah McStay
Sarah started working at Candy's Kids Learning Academy in February 2022 .She works with three-, four-, and three-year-olds and babies. She helps them wash their hands and participate in activities. Her favorite activities with the kids include teaching them to write names and letters. Fun fact:— Sarah loves helping children.
Robianny Alvarado
Robianny is a caring, reliable, and positive person with over four years of experience working with children ages 0-3. She loves working with babies because she gets to see every step they take every day as they grow, and she has helped educate herself to be a good mom.
Taren Berry
Taren started working at Candy's Kids in 2019. She started as a Summer Camp teacher. She has worked her way up to the Preschool teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Kutztown University. She enjoys teaching children and has a gift for teaching.
Ji'Yonna Moore
Jiyonna started with Candy's Kids in Aug 2023. Within that time, she has completed 120 course hours toward her CDA in infants/toddlers. She enjoys reading to the children and helping them with their development
Ivonne Williams
Ivonne has been in childcare for 14 years. She started with Candy's Kids in October 2023. Within that time, she enrolled in Eastern University to obtain an Associate in Ealy ChildCare Education. She is very creative and loves teaching and taking care of children. She is a mother of two and a wife.
